As Luxor has such ancient roots it would be fair the believe that its maps change little. However, with all the renovations and alternations that are taking place in Luxor, maps are becoming quickly out of date and it is hard to keep up with the changes.

We have given a map of Egypt to show exactly where Luxor is located, maps showing the positions of the major temples and tombs of the west bank, a street map of Central Luxor and a series of satellite maps from the Google Website. Unfortunately the satellite maps are not current as streets have been widened and there have been major changes around Luxor and Karnak Temples since they were originally produced.

A new street map of Central Luxor is being prepared and other maps will be replaced as soon as new ones are available.
